The question every motorcycle commuter asks every morning

Every motorcycle commuter knows the feeling. You wake up, check the weather app, and get a forecast. Partly cloudy. 52°F. 15% chance of rain. Which tells you almost nothing about whether you should actually throw a leg over.

A generic weather app doesn't know that you ride an ADV bike in full gear and consider anything above 40°F fair game. It doesn't know your commute takes you over an exposed ridge where gusts hit differently. It doesn't know you draw the line at 40% rain chance, not 20%.

That's the gap Ride or Drive fills. You set your own thresholds — cold temp limit, wind gust limit, rain chance tolerance, bike type, gear level. It also flags what generic weather apps miss entirely: whether your morning commute happens before sunrise, whether dusk hits during your evening ride home, whether conditions are borderline enough that your gear level actually changes the answer.
